Collletttivo
collletttivo.it
Independent, open-source type foundry publishing a free catalogue of contemporary type families under the SIL Open Font License.
What is Collletttivo?
Collletttivo is a collective-run type practice rather than a commercial foundry: members design the families, the site distributes them, and donations and member work keep it running. The catalogue currently lists 16 families, among them Borges, Ronzino, Aujournuit, Absans, Mazius Display, Ribes, Mattone, Coconat, Sinistre, Apfel Grotezk, Ortica, Messapia, Halibut, Sprat, Sneaky Times and Necto Mono, ranging from a single weight to Sprat's 18.
All typefaces are released under the SIL Open Font License, and several families also ship variable versions (Aujournuit, Sinistre, Halibut, Sprat). Each family has its own page with weight samples and specimen material, and the site credits its donors, who fund hosting, printing and distribution.
