Libraries

libraries.dev

Home of five free React UI effect libraries — Beam, Orb, Gooey, Metal and Image — built to be installed and wired up by coding agents.

What is Libraries?

Libraries.dev packages five production-ready React effect libraries: border beams, thinking orbs, gooey merges, liquid metal and image-generation loaders. Every library is MIT-licensed on npm with zero runtime dependencies, and ships as a single prompt your coding agent pastes into Claude Code, Cursor or Codex. Beam and Orb also offer SwiftUI and React Native versions, while a Pro plan unlocks the Studio for deep per-library customization and agent skills.

Best for

  • Agent-built React apps that look generic
  • Copy-paste effects via Claude Code or Cursor
  • Polished loaders, orbs and border animations

Key features

  • Five MIT-licensed npm packages, ~83 KB total
  • Installs and wires up from one copied prompt
  • Zero runtime dependencies (React 18+)
  • SwiftUI and React Native versions for Beam and Orb
  • Pro Studio for advanced configuration
