What is Open Foundry?
Open Foundry, now in version 2.0 and built by the team behind Magic as a Service, is a free, non-commercial platform for open-source fonts such as those under SIL or MIT licences. Each entry pairs a specimen with the typeface name, its designer and a number, then links to the font's own project page.
It is a display rather than a distribution platform: font files are hosted only so previews can render and are never offered for download, and no designer can pay to appear. New open-source typefaces can be submitted, and the project is supported through GitHub sponsorships.
