LiftKit is a design-system-derived UI framework for React and Next.js on Tailwind — currently being rewritten around Base UI primitives.
What is chainlift/liftkit?
LiftKit, by Chainlift, is a UI framework aimed at perfectionists, built on Next.js and Tailwind CSS with a companion Figma library. The current version is explicitly flagged as not production-ready; a rewrite wrapping Base UI primitives — with live demos and copy-paste samples — is about 50% complete as of March 2026. Installation centers on @chainlift/liftkit plus an npx liftkit init step that adds shadcn-style configuration.
